Responsibilities:
As Maintenance and Reliability Engineer, your prime
responsibility will be the prevention of critical equipment
failures and the systematic and sustainable elimination of
recurring defects.
Using your reliability expertise and in-depth knowledge of
the equipment's condition, you'll ensure that asset
integrity and production targets are met by timely
preventive maintenance.
We're currently looking to recruit a Maintenance and
Reliability Engineer to join us in Kristiansund. The E&M
department is responsible for maintaining the technical
integrity of the Draugen assets and existing facilities at
optimal life-time costs, and for meeting asset and E&M
function capacity, availability, reliability, HSE, integrity
and performance targets.
Electrical Engineers
Responsibilities:
Give technical advice to Operating Units on all electrical
engineering matters;
Carrying out audits and reviews at customer installations;
Concept design of major electrical engineering elements of
projects;
Contributes to preparation of standards covering electrical
engineering equipment;
Performs electrical system studies using specialist external
consultant;
Your role includes developing expertise and leveraging on
best practises, to ensure
technically sound, cost effective engineering advice, and
value-add to all clients;

design work and all supporting services
Reservoir Engineer
Responsibilities:
As a Reservoir Engineer, the individual we seek will
contribute to:
Generation and delivery unconventional oil growth
opportunities in Aberdeen.
Enable the team to link geological, technical and commercial
success in screening heavy oil prospects
Develop a broad and deep subsurface understanding of the
buzzard, its heavy oil
field properties and performance.
Help create a team that interfaces with
Unconventional Oils (UO) management and global stakeholders
to ensure that team projects/deliverables maintain alignment
with overall unconventional oil strategy.
Develop a broad and deep subsurface understanding of the
buzzard and its heavy oil deposits.
Develop a broad and deep understanding of the technologies
for unconventional oil development and the commercial
environment in Buzzard.
* Key roles will include:
running thermal and cold EOR well simulations,
creating scoping development plans for acquisitions and
prospects
helping to build a network for heavy oil reservoir
engineering in the Trat Petroleum Scotland UK global
community.
* Maintain close contact with technology and research
initiatives. Ensure that opportunity evaluation employs the
latest understanding of critical success factors and
commercial drivers for unconventional oil exploitation.
Rotating Equipment Engineer
Responsibilities:
* As one of our Rotating Equipment Engineers, you'll advise
on all aspects of rotating equipment engineering, operations
and maintenance with the objective of ensuring the safe,
reliable and cost-efficient operation of machinery in new
and existing installations. Among other activities, you'll
be involved with root cause analysis, failure diagnosis and
shutdown assistance of major machinery;
* We'll expect you to manage rotating equipment condition
monitoring and performance monitoring programmes, and
develop procedures to monitor equipment availability and
reliability. Your work may also focus on dynamic simulation,
rotor dynamics and reliability modelling studies;
* You'll be responsible for the design specifications of
rotating equipment for new projects, and monitor the
performance of engineering contractors in their activities.
Participating in concept selection studies and contributing
to development releases for novel equipment, you'll
contribute to the revision of the Group's specifications and
be in contact with major rotating equipment manufacturers
regarding the development of new equipment and
problem-solving issues;
* Working independently or as a member of multi-disciplinary
teams, you'll coach, mentor and develop junior staff, and
provide training where necessary.
Manager - Instrumentation
Responsibilities:
* Deliver technical advice and expertise, including project
execution, for Distributed Control System (DCS), field
instrumentation, quality measuring instruments and custody
transfer instruments in a safe, professional and
cost-effective way;
* Provide professional vision and maintain expertise in all
aspects of the instrument discipline so as to advise
management on strategies to be adopted, choice of vendors
and systems;
* Maintain the plant field instrumentation, Integrated
Control Systems (ICS), Instrument Protective Systems (IPS)
and diagnostic equipment to meet high on-stream
availability, reliability and plant integrity;
* Develop and engineer new projects and plant changes
inclusive of construction, implementation and commissioning
works. Ensure that engineering design conforms to company
standards and covers the feasibility for operability and
maintainability;
* Maintain the plant instrumentation to achieve a high
standard in reliability, integrity and availability.
Recommend solutions to maximise the process on stream time
and minimize the nuisance trips.
Mechanical Engineer/Project Engineer
Responsibilities:
Mechanical / project engineer will lead a team of
technicians and crafts to develop deployment processes for
mineral insulated (MI) cables in vertical and horizontal
wells. The person will be responsible for concept
development, procedure design, validation by field testing,
and technical assurance of all parts of the deployment
process.
Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Electrical / Mechanical / Chemical /
Environmental or relevant Engineering discipline.
1 to 5 years of experience in relevant industry
Good communication and interpersonal
skills, able to work independently and self motivated.
Experience in waste water treatment will be an added
advantage.
Applicants must be willing to work in Aberdeen, Scotland
(Europe).
Willing to travel within short notice
